Serafina grew up primarily in Portland, Oregon, with summers spent in southern Utah where she cultivated a love for the desert. From an early age, she found peace in the outdoors. 

Serafina started as a guide at Legacy Treatment Center and Juniper Canyon in 2018. She had fallen in love with outdoor education during her previous work as an adventure guide; before working in Wilderness Therapy she had professionally guided rock climbing, canyoneering, and rafting trips. Needless to say, she was well-prepped for the adventure aspects of the job! 

She is passionate about helping others to find the same healing and power in the wilderness that she has experienced in her own life. Serafina values working in an environment that celebrates growth, challenge, and community. 

When not working you will find Serafina climbing, biking, exploring and hiking with her dogs.
