Mallorie grew up in New England and from a young age loved spending time outdoors.
She earned a BS in Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University in 2015, and an MSW and MS in Outdoor Education from the University of New Hampshire in 2020. She has worked as a direct care counselor at an inpatient psychiatric hospital, a community-based counselor for children and adolescents, a therapeutic adventure group facilitator, and a Wilderness Therapy field guide.
In 2020, Mallorie came out to Utah to be a therapist intern at Legacy Treatment Center and Juniper Canyon Treatment Center. She immediately stepped up to the task at hand during an unprecedented year and quickly became an integral member of the clinical team, bringing with her enthusiasm, willingness, confidence to express her observations, and a keen understanding of the dynamic nature of Wilderness Therapy.
Mallorie is enjoying her new home in Utah. Her hobbies include hiking, running, surfing & snowboarding.
