Our Women’s Alcohol Addiction Treatment Program
Substance use disorder can have a significant impact on virtually all areas of a woman’s life. This includes their physical and mental health, employment, relationships, and overall well-being. Our treatment facility offers a gender-specific residential treatment program for women between the ages of 18 and 40 who are struggling with alcohol addiction, co-occurring mental health disorders, and trauma.
At our facility, our 90-day program takes place here in Loa, Utah. We utilize trauma-informed, evidence-based care not just to treat addiction itself, but the underlying issues that may be behind it. Our team is composed of dedicated licensed therapists, medical providers, adventure therapy professionals, and recovery support staff.

A Safe Healing Rehab Program for Women
Women who are recovering from alcohol addiction are often best served by treatment that recognizes the relationship between substance use and mental health, trauma, and other life experiences. For this reason, we offer a gender-specific residential program that provides a supportive environment where women can focus on their healing and recovery without worrying about the distractions of everyday life. This structured program is tailored to each woman’s individual needs and allows access to peer support.
Recovery is built on evidence-based therapy, adventure therapy, and trauma-informed care. Our focus on adventure therapy sets us apart from recovery programs found at other addiction treatment centers. It allows women to apply the skills they learn in therapy to real-world challenges while also developing healthier coping mechanisms for stress and other complex emotions.
What Sets Us Apart
Our approach to treatment goes beyond traditional models by combining clinical sophistication, structured care, and measurable outcomes. At Legacy Outdoor Adventures, every aspect of the program is intentionally designed to support deep, lasting healing, not just short-term stabilization. We also focus on the specific needs of women through individualized care.

Treatment Options to Support the Recovery Journey

Relapse Prevention
The levels of care necessary following residential treatment can vary from person to person. Some people may benefit from a sober living facility, while others may benefit from support groups, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), or another alcohol or drug rehab program. Our team can work with the client to provide a referral or to help facilitate the next stage of care.

Benefits of Women’s Addiction Treatment
FAQs
We accept many insurance providers for substance use and mental health services. Contact our admissions team to verify your benefits and learn more about what your specific plan covers.
Our residential treatment program lasts approximately 90 days.
Whether or not outpatient treatment may be needed, and what specifically that outpatient treatment may look like, depends on the individual’s specific needs. If further treatment and support are needed after completing our program, our team can provide referrals to other levels of care, such as a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), or a sober living facility.
You can start by approaching your loved one about their substance use with concern, compassion, and a willingness to listen. Then you can encourage them to seek professional treatment while assuring them you’ll be there to support them along the way. If your loved one is experiencing withdrawal symptoms, our team at Legacy can help with detox placement before they transition to our residential program.
